CPAC Texas has begun!

Today in Dallas, Texas CPAC has begun. The first time in this location(at least in my last 4 years of covering it) and on day one of three, it is already filled with lines, smiles and excitement. I had thought that after President Biden being in the White House for half year, perhaps some of the loyalty to former President Trump might decline. It is amazing how many people are dressed in all kinds of Trump gear…from dresses, to hats, to full costumes!

For those unfamiliar with CPAC, it is an annual event typically held near DC. CPAC is put together by the ACU (American Conservative Union), which occasionally holds small CPAC events nationwide. Due to COVID the annual CPAC was held in Orlando, Florida this year. The ACU holds events nation wide, apart from the main CPAC. Usually, they are rather small, with 2 or 3 main speakers. This Dallas CPAC though is extremely large for a CPAC apart from the main annual CPAC. I would say matches in size and number of speakers. So just because this isn’t the main CPAC you maybe used to, buckle up for a busy weekend!

You will hear from conservatives from all over the country and different walks of life. From activists to former President Trump, there are a variety of speakers to hear from. Who will we hear from today? Find out below.

Many speakers are scheduled today including:

Donald Trump Jr.

James O’Keefe with Project Veritas

Congressman Mo Brooks

Congressman Madison Cawthorn

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick

and many more!

These will be some early mornings and late nights, but will get some on the scene videos uploaded as soon as possible. Looking forward to interviewing speakers, but especially average Americans about their ideas and feelings of where our great country is! I am expecting to hear about many hot topics such as the border and Critical Race Theory. With many Americans concerned about what kids are learning, CRT has become a prevalent issue and I plan on hearing many things about it. Another thing I have heard and continue to hear about, is immigration. After all we are in Texas, which is a border state that has been in the news frequently. Biden has certainly not received love here. Conservatives are not happy with the new administration and are hoping Trump will run in 2024.
