I was right… for the most part

Happy election… days. We are still waiting to see who will be President come January 20th. The chances are no matter who “wins”, legal battles will ensue. If you saw my previous post, you probably heard my pre Election Day Predictions. If you didn’t see that, I put that Birds Eye View below.

So far, some of my predictions were spot on, but some were not. Such as Wisconsin and Michigan. I was not actually that surprised about Biden winning Wisconsin. I barely called it for President Trump and I thought it would be tight. What did surprise me was Michigan. I felt a strong energy for President Trump In Michigan. Talking to people in Michigan, seeing signs and more. I really thought Trump would take Michigan.

Who do you think will win in the end? Be sure to let me know!

  1. David L. Richards

    Dear Phoenix:

This is David Richards from the Margaret Chase Smith Library in Skowhegan, Maine, where your father was a student many years ago. Do you remember stopping by for a visit during the last presidential election?

With the Library only open to the public on a limited basis due to the pandemic, we have been doing Zoom interviews with interesting people and posting them on Facebook and archiving them on our YouTube channel, TheMCSLibrary. I would love to turn the tables on you and have you answer rather than ask the questions. We would talk about your journalistic work, travels across the country through two election cycles, and political analysis.

What do you think? Would you be interested? I keep the conversations between 30 and 45 minutes, so this wouldn’t take up anymore than an hour of your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Safe travels and stay well,

    David Richards, Director
    Margaret Chase Smith Library
