President Trump made a trip to Dalton, Georgia, where thousands of his supporters gathered for Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. The two Republicans are locked in a tight race with Democratic candidates Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. The reason this race is so important is that it will decide the balance of power in the Senate.
It has been a blast covering the Georgia Runoff and I can’t wait to see the results. I was able to speak with people at the event about the election and what our country can do to come together after such a divisive election.
As you can see many Trump supporters feel if Democrats have the Presidency, the House and the Senate that America is in deep trouble. It has been interesting to see a state race become national and how much of an affect one state can have on a nation.
