Ossoff and Warnock Campaign With Common in Savannah

With just 17 days until Election Day, Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff traveled to Savannah with Grammy award winning artist Common. Hundreds of cars gathered outside Garden City Stadium to listen to multiple performers, from gospel to rap. It was like a big celebration/political rally!

I was able to speak with multiple Democratic voters from the community about this important runoff election and why they chose to support Warnock and Ossoff. Although election day is weeks in the rear view mirror(I can not wait to drive, so I can actually use one!), people are still so passionate. Perhaps many came out not just due to the Senate run-off election, but because of the continued battle for the Presidential electoral votes of Georgia. Of course, those 16 points would not change the results, but the continued battle seems to light a fire under both sides of the aisle.

Not only did we hear from attendees, we also heard Ossoff and Warnock answer questions from the press. I find it so interesting that the two candidates are working as a team. Even during the press gaggle, they played off of each others answers in a well synchronized manner.
