I learned quite a bit because of my interview with this woman. What seemed to be a rehearsed speech in the beginning appeared very educated and eloquent. Until I asked a question that required a genuine, unrehearsed answer…”do you lock your doors at night…and what is the purpose of a peephole in the door?” Her answer had a ton of “you know” within it and my dad then encouraged me to investigate what it means when someone says that…instead of telling you what I learned, maybe you should Google ‘why do people say you know a lot when speaking’ 🙂
